Genius students and those who are praised as geniuses often end up being spoiled. This is because they are only achieving high results for their age, and their achievements are mediocre compared to those of adults. They become trapped in their successful experiences and are unable to surpass their "mediocre achievements". The praise of adults who are less intelligent than the former genius only exacerbates this phenomenon.
